Welcome to Royel Joker Irish Wolfhounds.

We are Jaunita, Alan and Nicholas MacLeod and we are located off the eastern Canadian coast in beautiful Prince Edward Island. Our love for the Irish Wolfhound breed started 13+ years ago, when we purchased our first pet puppy Joker . Since then our canine family has happily expanded. We are now situated on 25 acres of land where our dogs thrive with nature.

In breeding our goal has always been quality not quantity and to improve the breed with each new generation and consequently each breeding is carefully planned with this ideal in mind. We also feel it is extremely important to maintain the true Irish Wolfhound of long ago. Our love of this breed and commitment to its well-being have helped us to produce the quality conformation and outstanding temperament of the true original Wolfhounds we are striving for. Whether you are looking for a pet puppy or a puppy to show, our Wolfhounds are sure to bring a smile to your face.

With dogs placed as far away as New Mexico, we are always making friends! Our pet puppies have proven to be adorable, loving and sound and are busy filling their owners lives with joy. Showing only on a limited basis, we have also produced quality sound Champions with correct temperaments while maintaining the heritage of this magnificent breed. Our dogs are home kept and raised, allowing us to form and maintain a close bond with each and every puppy born.

We welcome guests and inquiries anytime and are always willing to help out with any information or questions you may have. We constantly love, handle and nurture each puppy, giving them the best start in life possible before letting them go to their new owners. Puppies stay with us until they are 8 weeks old or longer, this depends on the puppies development.  We guarantee them to be healthy and sound and we are available 24/7 for any questions or concerns you have. Every puppy born is part of our family forever and we encourage owners to keep in constant contact with us by sending pictures, cards, letters and e-mails to let us know how the kids are doing. Not only do people get a new puppy, but we extend our family to yours and build friendships that last forever
