Born August 23, 2002

 Toa has been:

I was looking for a new young male to add to my house. I acquired him from Barbara who found him a bit  hard to handle. From the first time I saw his picture I wanted him. His quality and color was beautiful and I was hooked. I had to have him. He was a strong and powerful boy who needed a man to show him. Alan upon meeting him was in Awe. He and Toa bonded instantly and so it began.  Known as the "bronze puppy" by many  for his unusual color, your eyes were drawn to him. In the ring, his winning is constant. With over 30 group placements at such a young age.  Including his first in novice at the July 2004 IWANE specialty under well respected Ms. Elizabeth C. Murphy "Carrokeel" Ireland. At the Quebec specialty in May 2004 under another well respected breeder judge Ika Peiler (Knocknarea) Ireland  Toa wins the open male class, again proving he is correct. In 2005 under well respected  breeder judge Roni Kaluza (U.S.A.) Toa wins the head class.
During Ika Peiler critique of Toa she describes him as " Shapely, well made 19 month old red brindle. Still not quite mature but showing good promise. Lovely head with the nicest high set rose ear. Correct top line and underline, strong neck. Well balanced proportioned and good angulation front and rear. Good spring of pastern and good feet. A powerful and enthusiastic mover, but not quite together yet, loses his top line on the move".
As Toa has mature he has grown into a beautiful boy that has done very well in the show ring. He has sired multiple litters producing some of Canada's champions that we are very proud of .
